| Information about Your Self Esteem |
|
Self esteem is your own view of you, physically, emotionally, and mentally. Therefore, low self esteem is a low, negative view of you. Keeping an honest and positive attitude by far outweighs a negative one, and will really make your day better. Low self esteem can come from many sources. Many have low self esteem, and definitely need to bring it up to be successful in life. There is one person that can make you feel better about yourself in positive ways, and that would happen to be you. You can also tear yourself down just as well. It’s your choice, and decision. The sources of low self esteem can originate in numerous sources. Emotional issues can play a large role in self esteem. While you might not realize it, this is the view that only you have of yourself. No-one else can see this in exact detail, and are less likely to realize. Often it’s compounded and reinforced with a poor body image of self. There are a number of reasons your self esteem can be low, but the one definite in all cases is it’s up to you to build it up realistically. You might look at your self esteem as a large structure with a foundation, walls, and a top. All will fall down if the foundation falls. You need to have a strong foundation, or it won’t hold up. There are many ways of reinforcing your foundation. With that, storms will come, but you will still stand. One big hit on your foundation is negative attitudes of any kind. They can crack up your foundation and allow the rest to fall to the ground easily. Do your best to do away with negativity as it has a real high price tag on both your confidence and your self esteem. The resources you can find to build your self esteem can seem endless. They range from books, seminars, and even TV shows; onto professional therapists and therapies even. Though when considering, you might want to start with those that you can do in your own privacy to build up to others. Between your library, book stores, and online you can find many of these, along with quite a few free articles as well. Whatever you choose take it all the way. Don’t stop until you feel better, or else realize it’s time to try the next thing with a lot of educated reason behind it. There are also support groups available that will have those that came from worse, and have found self esteem, happiness, and realistic confidence To read more articles by Tony Robinson, check out http://gift-ideas247.com |
